On 15.8.2009 my daughters joined "Manga Lecture & Demonstration by Seiji Iwami" at Balai Seni Lukis Negara, learning some basic points about Manga illustration from a sifu. My daughters were selected by Balai Seni Lukis primarily on the basis they watch TV cartoon programs more than anyone else, I guess.I was unexpectedly pushed to join the fray of the workshop after the organizer realized low participant turn up. At one point the sifu ushered me up to the stage as subject of his cartoon image. In the end it was fun and educational activity for my kids. I wonder if they will end up as cartoonists.
